Even Dead Girls Love Flowers (Poetry)

Breaking through dirt at this wee morning hour
Her love should come soon, but she is feeling quite dour

For the fragrant-est blooms she’s hoping he’ll scour
For she’s smelling quite ripe and in need of a shower

He better come quickly before she does sour
Or goes looking for brains of which she’ll devour

Till then our maiden by her gravestone she cowers
It’s true what they say, even dead girls love flowers.

I decide I had to write a poem to go along with my drawing! I think I used almost every (good) word that rhymes with flower. 🙂
